It is never easy to find parking at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum, but it is not impossible either. Madison Drive runs by one side of the Museum. Constitution Avenue on the other side. The museum opens at 10:00 AM year round. During the summer high season and some other busy days, the Museum is open until 7:30 PM.
