There is a restroom behind the visitors center in front of the FDR Memorial.  There are also water fountains nearby..

Tours to the FDR Memorial

One of the best ways to see the Jefferson Memorial is to visit it as part of a tour of the monuments.  Nonpartisan Pedicab offers tours that take approximately 2-3 hours.  Many guests say that this is the highlight of their trip to Washington DC.

Parking at the FDR Memorial

Unless you have handicapped stickers, you have to park at some distance.  There is metered on street parking next to the Potomac River on Ohio Drive.

On-street parking on the National Mall is no longer free of charge.  Three hour parking is available at $2 per hour.  Parking meters only accept credit cards.

Cherry Blossoms at the FDR Memorial

The area around the FDR Memorial is one of the best areas to see the Cherry Blossoms when they are in full bloom in late March or early April.  At that time of year, this whole area is very crowded and parking may be a real problem.
